The Supreme Court of New Zealand released a majority decision finding that a triangular polyamorous relationship (colloquially known as a “throuple”) is capable of being subdivided into two or more qualifying de facto relationships under the Property (Relationships) Act 1976, meaning the proceedings will return to the Family Court for determination.
