Women in Wealth breakfast with author Barbara Sumner

It was a pleasure to meet Barbara, the author of The Gallows Bird (2024) and Tree of Strangers (2020), who is a multi-award-winning documentary producer and 2024 Michael King Writer in Residence. Barbara shared her insights into women who defy convention (including herself), her journey into fiction and her new focus on how women thrive in their “third act”.
